India vs India A, Intra-Squad Match Day 2 Highlights: Day 2 of the intra-squad practice match between India and India A at Beckenham, Kent has concluded. In the absence of head coach Gautam Gambhir, who flew back to India due to a personal emergency, Agarkar and BCCI Centre of Excellence head VVS Laxman were present to analyse the likes of Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant and co. in action, with the first Test against England less than a week away. Reportedly, Laxman will take over Gambhir’s duties till the latter returns. Reports also stated that Sarfaraz Khan, who was left out of the 18-man squad for the series, slammed a century on Day 2.
