On Sunday evening, Dungarpur city experienced rainfall for the second consecutive day. The heavy downpour lasted for about 45 minutes, causing water to flow on the streets. Several areas saw water accumulation on the roads. Strong, dust-laden winds also blew, providing relief to the residents from the day’s heat. Even after the rain subsided, the weather remained somewhat cloudy.
In Dungarpur, Sunday morning started with intense heat. By noon, the temperature had risen significantly, causing discomfort to the people. However, after 3 PM, the weather suddenly changed. Clouds covered the sky, and winds began to blow, lifting dust. Around 3:30 PM, light drizzle started, followed by a heavy downpour. With loud thunderclaps, it rained heavily, leading to water flowing on the streets and the city’s drainage canals filling up rapidly. Several areas experienced waterlogging. The heavy rain made visibility difficult for vehicle drivers. The intense rainfall lasted for about 45 minutes, then decreased, but the sky remained cloudy with intermittent drizzles.
