Contract Employee Dies from Electric Shock

A contract employee of the electricity department died from an electric shock in Ghodiwara Kalan, under Mukundgarh police station area of Jhunjhunu.

The deceased was installing a new transformer around 4 PM in Ghodiwara Kalan village when he received an electric shock and fell.

The young man was brought to BDK Hospital in Jhunjhunu in critical condition. After examination, the doctors declared him dead.

Head Constable Mahavir stated that the deceased, Ashok, son of Ganpat, was a resident of Chandpura village in Sikar district.

Head Constable Mahavir mentioned that Ashok had been working in Ghodiwara Kalan for the past three years. The accident occurred on Sunday while changing the transformer in Ghodiwara Kalan. The body has been kept in the mortuary of BDK Hospital. The family has been informed, and post-mortem procedures will be conducted once they arrive.

The deceased Ashok was married and had a son and a daughter. His wife is a homemaker.
